2. What data we process and why

Browsing data

To run the website and protect it from abuse, the IT systems automatically record some technical data about visits: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type and operating system. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: for as long as strictly necessary, unless needed to establish liability in the event of computer crime.

Contact form requests

We process the data you provide (name, company, email, phone and message) to answer your request and, where requested, prepare a quote.
Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Retention: for as long as needed to handle the request and no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless a business relationship follows, in which case the retention periods for customers and suppliers apply.

Job applications

We process the data you send with your application (personal and contact details, CV, cover note) to assess your profile and, if suitable, invite you to an interview. Please do not include unnecessary data in your CV, such as health data or other special categories, unless required by law.
Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); consent is not required for unsolicited CVs (Art. 111-bis of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003). Retention: 24 months from receipt, for future openings; you can ask us to delete it at any time.

3. Do you have to provide your data?

No. Providing data in the forms is optional, but without the required fields we cannot answer your request or assess your application. Browsing data is necessary to display the website.

4. Who we share data with

Data is processed by authorised and trained Arisi Srl staff. It may also be processed by providers of technical services, appointed as processors under Art. 28 GDPR: the website hosting provider (Aruba S.p.A., with servers in Italy), the email service provider and the advisers who assist us with administration. Data may also be disclosed to the authorities where required by law. We do not sell or publish your data.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

We process data within the European Union. If a provider were to process it outside the EU, the transfer would only take place with the safeguards set out in Art. 44-49 GDPR, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. For the YouTube video, see section 6.

6. Cookies and third-party content

The website does not use profiling cookies or analytics tools, and does not set its own cookies. Fonts, images and scripts are hosted on our own website.

The only third-party content is the video on the home page and the Machinery page, hosted on YouTube (Google). Until you press play, the website does not connect to YouTube: only a preview image hosted by us is shown. If you start the video, the player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com and Google may collect viewing data and use cookies under its own policy (policies.google.com/privacy), including transfers to the United States.

7. Your rights

At any time you can ask us for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15-21 GDPR). To exercise your rights, write to info@arisi.it or to our certified email arisisrl@pec.it; we will reply within one month. If you believe the processing infringes the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
